Eugene “Bob” Robert Collins Jr., a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on November 20, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born on May 30 in Warsaw, Missouri, to Eugene Robert and Dorothy (Barnes) Collins.

Bob worked for many years as a plant foreman for Banner Engineering before moving into sign painting in Henryetta, where he became well known for his craftsmanship and dedication to his work. He was a longtime and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Henryetta. Bob also honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Earlene (Francis) Collins; his daughter, Christy Lindsey; granddaughter, Xandra Collins; and a sister, Patricia Palmer.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert Collins, of the home; daughters Terri Kline and husband John of Muskogee, and Kimberly Hedrick of Tulsa. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Rusty Kline, Kelsey Short, Seth Kline, Truman Hedrick, Grayson Hedrick, Trinity Lindsey, Talitha Lindsey, and Justice Lindsey; and great-grandchildren: Ethan Kline, Presley Kline, Milo Short, Maizy Short, and Mace Short.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Henryetta First Baptist Church, with Rev. Dale Huckabay officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, with Military Honors, under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
